Keswick and the North Lakes

In Keswick you will find a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, museums, a cinema and the very popular Theatre by the Lake. There is a range of attractions, sporting and leisure activities for people of all ages, both outside and indoors.

Derwentwater is the most beautiful of lakes with its rocky coves and islands, but just a short drive away are the other lakes, such as Thirlmere, Buttermere or Crummock Water or the great Lakeland mountains of Great Gable, Scafell or Helvellyn.

Information about local events and attractions is always available for our guests. We can advise on what to see and places to visit.
